My lampshades started to collect some dust and unsightly dirt spots on the shades. I washed them and they came out like brand new.
Step One: Remove the lamp shades from the lamp base. Step Two: Fill a clean bathtub with warm water and light detergent, such as a few drops of dish washing soap. Step Three: Immerse the entire lampshade in the water. Step Four: Wash the lampshade gently using a washcloth. Step Five: Rinse the shade. Step Six: Remove the shade from the water, letting all the water drain from the shade.
Finally, let it sit on a towel to drip dry. When dried they may be put back on the lamp.
All of my family members were impressed with how clean they were and how easy it was to clean them.
