I reuse the can for picnics, cookies (which get broken in zip lock bags) fit beautifully in the can and are never broken. Great at the beach, hiking etc.

You could cut off the legs and make a pillow out of the the top part. Sew up the leg parts and the waist band and stuff it through the zipper.

When my kids were small, I would save all the tubes to paper towels, toilet paper rolls, small boxes of different sizes, cardboard from sheets and packages, extra rope, ribbon, etc. and put them in a larger box.
