Here are a couple of ideas to surprise your Valentine with a fun and/or romantic evening!

On the first of Feb. give your spouse or family member the following note: "Congratulations, you are the lucky recipient of the 14 days of Valentines."

Take card stock (can be all white or multi-value color) and cut into quarters. Unfold and hold it halves and cut on fold to make two equal size pieces of stationary.

Place a scoop or two of ice cream in a glass, pour sprite over it. Top with strawberry preserves and whipped cream. 

Make sure your not forgetting to thank all the people that do things for you through out the year.

Although the traditional time for the Bavarian celebration of Oktoberfest is the second week of September, you can still have a good time with your family and start your own tradition of October Fest.

Utilize the "use what you have" theory! Go through your cupboards and drawers to find items that can be used as props in your fall display. Find pitchers to use to hold wildflowers and dried grasses, bring out warm throws to toss over your couch, layer fabrics on your tables.

Take your Milk container, be it carton or jug and remove top leaving just an open square container. Note* plastic milk jugs are not great ideas for wee buddies since they can be sharp once cut.
