Unfortunately, we all have embarrassing moments! Some people have them more than others. I think its God's way of keeping us humble and reminding us that we are not perfect. Everyone needs a good laugh at themselves every now and then. Please share yours!

My son had a hard time learning to talk, so he mispronounced many, many words. Well, one day we were eating lunch at a local diner, when he stood up on his chair, held his silverware high and yelled at the top of his lungs, "FOKER!!!!" Horrified, I tried to sit him down, since many of the patrons were staring at us in shock. I sat him down and he yelled "FOKER!" again. I put my hand over his mouth in an attempt to quiet him down. As soon as my attention was elsewhere, he stood up and yelled, "FOKER!!!" The entire restaurant was staring and someone motioned the waiter over, pointed to us, and then pretended not to notice when the waiter came over and asked if we needed "help" with anything, which is when I explained that my son wasn't swearing, he was just trying to say "fork"!
When I was pregnant, I was at church waiting for a temple recommend interview. I was in the lobby and my maternity nylons just would not stay up, so I waited until the person ahead of me went in, and, thinking I was alone for a moment, went around the corner for some privacy. I gave my nylons a good HIKE up, and turned around to go back into the lobby, when I noticed that there was a glass entry door behind me that I hadn't noticed before, with a blushing man standing outside, staring in awe of the spectacle he'd just seen! I hung my head in shame and pretended to be oblivious to the fact that he'd just seen me wiggle and shimmy inside my nylons at 8 months pregnant.

My most embarrassing moment happened to me in high school, of course. I think high school is just an embarrassing moment waiting to happen!! I was in show choir in my school and we had practiced and practiced this really great 50's song. One of the moves was very tricky and my partner and I were really proud that we could do it without anything terrible really happening. The thing was we never had a rehearsal in our costumes. So that night in front of a gymnasium full of parents and peers my partner put me on the ground, stepped to my left (on my skirt) and to my right (on my skirt) and then pulled my threw his legs and my skirt over my head. It probably wouldn't have been that bad except he didn't realize what was happening and my legs had been forward to the audience. I could hear everyone laughing! I was red as a beet and of course totally embarrassed. I was really professional I just pulled up my skirt and kept on dancing.
