The following family service projects, I believe, are particularly family friendly.

It’s Monday; Mom comes home at 5 pm after work, Kay, the younger one, stays on late at school usually for club activities, Dad comes home at 8pm and I usually get back around 7.30pm.

In our family, we use a "Love Jar" to help our children learn to show love and respect for others. If we "catch" our children doing a kind deed for a member of the family, or for someone else, then we (or another member of the family) can nominate that person for a "love ticket."

Whether you work at home, stay at home or work full time if you have kids making time for them is the most important priority in your to do list each day....

On the eve of my dad's birthday I want to sit down and write about what a very special person he has always been in my life. I realize that I could truly write pages and pages and still have more to tell, but I will try not to ramble too much.

I don't think we realize how important our fathers are in our lives.  They are taking a bigger role in children's lives these days, but when I was a child in the 50's, Dads went to work and mostly left the childrearing to Mums. We children knew no different. It was the norm.

We are a family of 9 and meal times are sometimes either like a cattle market or everyone's glued to the t v and if anyone dares to speak they're bombarded with annoyed shouts to be quiet.

Mothers in Zion, your God-given roles are so vital to your own exaltation and to the salvation and exaltation of your family. A child needs a mother more than all the things money can buy. Spending time with your children is the greatest gift of all.
