Bleach Raindrop Pictures Make a bleach mixture of one part bleach to four parts water and place in a squirt bottle. Keep this out of reach of your children. Label it poison, then when done, dispose of the contents and rinse thoroughly. Give your child/ren a piece of blue construction paper. Have them draw a picture of an outside scene. When your child is finished, go outside and spray the bleach water on their picture. Your child will soon see the raindrops appear as the color is bleached from the paper.
Flower Sponge PicturesMake or purchase a variety of flower-shaped sponges. Set them out with bowls of tempera paint on your art table (or a table with a vinyl table cloth). Allow your child to use the sponges and paint to make patterns or designs on construction paper or on paper bags. You can use the bags as holiday gift bags.
