This is a fun activity to teach your children when you are playing at a park together or eating a picnic lunch. Pick all the dandelions or daisies that you can find. It works best with flowers with a thick stem such as dandelions. Leave the stems several inches long. Using your fingernail, poke a hole through the center of a stem of the first flower. Push the stem of the next flower through the stem. Pull all the way through. Continue by putting a hole in the second flower's stem and putting a third flower through this hole. Make this as long as you like. To close, put a hole through the last stem and take the stem of the first flower and put it through the last hole. You can make bracelets, necklaces and head wreaths with these flower chains! Enjoy!
