KaleI got this kale cooking method from a farmer at our local farmer’s market…and they always know how to cook their stuff!

Remember that greens cook down a little bit, so you want a big bunch of greens to work with.

Take fresh kale, best from your local farm or your own garden, and saute it in some margarine, butter, or oil for 5-10 minutes, until it wilts. Then add one cup bullion of your preference. I like to use one cup water with one teaspoon or one cube chicken bullion. Put a lid on the pan and simmer for about ten minutes. You may want to add salt or pepper.

Take it out and serve warm. This is my favorite way to eat kale. My son has liked this kale from the time he was a (picky) toddler!
