Make your own unique stationary to use yourself or to give as a gift.
Take card stock (can be all white or multi-value color) and cut into quarters. Unfold and hold it halves and cut on fold to make two equal size pieces of stationary.
Unfold again and cut around on length end and one width end---just a small amount and with a fancy cut scissors.
After cutting, cut a strip off of a piece of contrasting colored card stock and glue to underneath side of stationary so as to allow the fancy cut to show up against the color strip of paper. *This is only like a 1/8" cut or less.
Next in lower right hand corner (or where ever you desire) paint a nice heart. Use the hair dryer to speed drying time. Add dark and light highlights to give depth and shadows. Paint or draw on green leaves and a few curlie q's.
Around the outer edges of the other three corners in small, neat print write a scripture (or line from a song, poem, or happy thought) such as: "Let not your heart be troubled" or "There is sunshine in my heart today" etc.
Allow paint to cure for several days without laying one on top of the other. When dry, gather together envelopes (easy to make matching one by taking one store bought the size you need and use as a pattern make your own---can even add a small heart on back) and place stationary on top of envelopes and tie all with a fancy ribbon.
