Visiting Teaching ConferenceUse lighthouses as the theme. Light dinner could include: Clam Chowder
Decorations: Have tables covered with blue paper tablecloths. Have angel hair running down the middle with white Christmas lights. Then set lighthouses and lighthouse pictures down the tables. Use white napkins. Make a large lighthouse from cardboard or poster boards.
Handouts: A white with the saying, "In A World of Conflict and trouble....there will be those whose life's pattern will be as a beacon on a hill, as a lighthouse in a storm." (Bishop H. Burke Peterson) tied on with three different colored ribbons. Compile a booklet with quotes from General Conference and other places. Use an excerpt from "The Beacons of His Light" By Sister Mary Ellen Smoot at 1997 Women's Conference.
