Our Fall Social was tonight and now it's over.... and it was a HIT!!!!! I was just called to 2nd counselor last month so this was my first activity to be involved in the planning, etc....

We had 71 people there! We were hoping and praying there would be a good turnout... I guess last year, it was poorly attended.

We had bbq chicken (our RS Pres's husband took the day off work to bbq it all!), mixed veggies, rolls, then had sisters sign up to bring cheese potato casserole and homemade pies. It was DELICIOUS!!

For our entertainment.... stress city! I got the name of a gal in the
single's ward who has sung with Willie Nelson. Thankfully (after much stress) she ended up coming and singing the most BEAUTIFUL country love songs that she has written all on her own! Amazing, just amazing.

We had 3 other little "acts" before hers, all of which were very last minute. But to fill that time space was such a blessing and for them I am thankful.

I am on a high right now. So excited it went so awesome and so many attended. I heard such good feedback from so many people saying it was GREAT.
