 A Working Mom

Do I work? I do indeed

For the children that I breed.

I work all through the day and night,

I teach my children to choose the right.

I scope out a path, then lead the way,

And it is with my little ones that I pray.

I nurse their wounds and praise their glory,

And I ache with them in their time of fury.

I read them books and sing them tunes,

I give them lessons in the afternoons.

I teach them all and keep them pure,

Is this work? -- It is for sure!
