How Much Does Your Bottled Water Really Cost You?

Plastic BottledPeople are not only concerned with the high cost of bottled water to our wallets and the environment, but also the low quality. Tea Party Birthday

I love tea parties!  They are even more fun with giggly girls who are ready to learn and enjoy this very feminine pastime.  We had a Tea Party for our daughter Cailynn's ninth birthday.  Girls only!

Each girl is invited on a pretty invitation made from doilies.   Ask the girls to come dressed in dresses and hats if they have them!

I used my tea sets from Germany to serve the hot water and sugar.  Since we had so many girls, for tea cups we used plastic punch cups found at Hobby Lobby.  Set each tea cup on a doily.

Serve refreshments and cake on your finest dishes.

Refreshments (Served on crystal trays):

Samplers of herbal teas
mini luncheon sandwiches
cupcakes
fruit: grapes, apple slices
little chocolates
Shortbread
Birthday Cake

Games:

Making your own bracelet
"Telephone"
Make a Victorian Fan
Learn how to drink tea like a lady

It was lots of fun and very memorable for our daughter!
