Plastic BottledPeople are not only concerned with the high cost of bottled water to our wallets and the environment, but also the low quality. Get organized!   Find a system that works for you.

-Devote a 2 drawer filing cabinet to your scrapbook things.

-In the top drawer, organize your papers by color, theme, etc.  Or organize by child, season, holiday, or individual books that you're working on such as vacations or years.

-In the bottom drawer, store your scissors, punches, markers, stickers, die cuts, etc in Tupperware that you don't use anymore. It's best if they're clear, or mark them with stickers so you know what's inside.

-The best thing about it? You can scrapbook on top, and the mess stays relatively contained.

-Use Ziploc bags to store your pictures in by category.

-It's easier to see the pictures and stay organized, and it's cheap.

-Give the doubles away, or store them in a regular photo album at a parent's house.  That way, your parents can show off your family if they wish, and if a disaster ever struck your home, you would still have those cherished photos.

-This is also smart to do with the negatives.  I'd suggest storing those in labeled Ziploc bags that describe the pictures on them, store them in a labeled shoe box, and take them to your parent's house if they have extra storage space.
