Cottage Style Ambrosia

This Ambrosia is super easy to put together and tastes divine.  It is a great fruit salad dessert to serve to company or an easy treat to make for family night.

Ingredients:

•    8 ounce pkg. cream cheese, softened

•    1/3 cup sugar

•    2 tsp. lemon juice

•    2 tsp. pineapple juice

•    2 medium bananas, sliced and quartered

•    1 (4 ½ oz.) jar maraschino cherries, halved

•    1 (5 ¼ oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained, juice reserved

•    1 cup chopped nuts

•    1 16 oz. whipped topping

Directions:

Blend cream cheese, sugar and juices well.  Add bananas, cherries, pineapple and nuts.  Fold in whipped topping and refrigerate before serving.
